Collared

If you've read very much of shayla's blog, it's likely that you've come across
this entry of Master's. Over time, that original one wore to the point of being unwearable, and Master had shayla make another one until he saw fit to replace the original. He ordered the new ones, which came in December. Though for a time miranda and shayla went collarless. Until this past week, when the additions to the collars that Master'd ordered were complete.

Master'd designed and ordered medallions to be added onto the collars, with a sheath going over both the hinge and the lock of the collars. The y have our initials on the front, a 'K' on the back. The letters are bold, the medallions made to look primitive, intentionally imprinted with strike marks, the edges uneven. The 'S' on shayla's medallion is made of 3 straight lines. Primal, but beautiful. Just like shayla and miranda. So shayla's in a collar again, for the first time in a while.
Master said the other night that the money spent on the medallions was some of the best money he'd ever spent.

She didn't realize how much she'd missed feeling it on her neck. The medallions make small noises on the rings as we move. It seems that all three of us enjoy hearing them. It adds to the feeling of the collar. For various reasons, shayla's felt very disoriented, off-center, the past few months. The collar's assisted her in getting back on track to a great extent. A focal point, in a way. Master, some days ago, sat and talked to her some, helping her in his practical, honest way. He took ahold of his collar on shayla's neck and gave it a firm, gentle shake, saying that he's always got his hand on her, around her neck. For some reason it made all the difference in the world to her, hearing those words.

Of course, he's absolutely right. This collar is his hand around shayla's neck. Reminding her of what she is, who she is. That there's a man that wants her enough to own her. Finds her attractive, sincere, passionate, obedient enough, to place his symbol of ownership on. Out of all the women he could have in this house, she's one of two that he's selected to serve him.

Shayla's gotten comments on it, though she's uncertain just how many, or who, has actually understood the meaning of it. People have said that it's beautiful, lovely. One man asked what the rune on it meant. Another asked where he could get one. Shayla had to laugh at that one. A man, wanting a collar on his neck.
