Exercise Hazards

A friend of Master's and shayla's is here for a visit. The interesting thing is that she's a kajira, though currently un-owned (though that likely will be changing in the not-so-far future). So for the first time shayla's serving a Master with another girl. Quite the experience. There was some uncertainty on shayla's part at first with it all. Karen's closer to Master's peferred body type than shayla is. And since shayla's body is changing visibly by the week anymore, she's still unused to and uncertain of the changes in her appearance, especially since she's developing into the opposite of what her Master prefers. However (that's a big however), it's not what's on the outside that's important to him, it's what's on the inside. & karen's awfully sweet, not afraid to dive in & do what needs to be done. We've been getting along extremely well.

Due to a slight misstep on a flight of stairs, one of karen's knees is on the mend. So she's not been able to walk as long or as well as she normally does. So for the past couple days she's been starting getting re-introduced to exercise. While shayla was at work yesterday, Master showed karen some exercises (he's familiar with any number of them), & then took her for a walk around the neighborhood. This morning it was shayla's turn with her. One must say, it makes a tremendous difference having someone to work out with. Much less monotonous, far more enjoyable. It didn't seem like we worked out as long as we did, but shayla & karen put in the full 2 1/4 hours that shayla normally does. Though karen bypassed the stairs (shayla walks a circuit of 3 stories of stairs 5 times). Shayla doesn't even want to contemplate Master's possible reaction had she let karen try that.

Unlike the previous few mornings, it was cool. It'd been raining when we started, but by the time we got to the walk it had stopped. Shayla's always liked walking just after the rain. There's something about the smell in the air that she loves. Not too far from the house is a pair of mockingbirds that have made and are guarding a nest. Which includes dive-bombing unsuspecting pedestrians and kajirae innocently taking morning walks. For the past three days shayla has been dive-bombed every time she passes their nest. She's had visions of walking home with a bleeding, pecked head. Though that's not going to happen. The birds only get near enough that shayla can feel the air stir from their wings. They never come any closer.

A short bit past the birds is the back of a house that over-looks the pathway we walk. There's a little boy, about 5, 6 years old, that is almost invariably on the patio of the second story. Shayla and he have had a number of short, friendly exchanges as she walks past. So this morning when karen & shayla were walking, we were being shot at (figuratively, of course). By the young man, still in his Superman pj's, who was gleefully saving the world from intruding aliens, including those who stroll down the path. Shayla made sure to give a cry or two of mercy (no, no, don't shoot me!!!) as she passed. It didn't work, & we were blasted by lasers until we were out of sight. Gots ta love the kids.

Back home to get clean & presentable again. And all before Master stirred. Love that girl.
