Another girl

Master's planned from the beginning to have more than one girl. One of the first things he found out about shayla was her feelings regarding the idea of being one of a pair of kajirae. At first she wasn't certain how she'd feel about it. It's something that Master and shayla talked about a great deal before she actually came down. Having a 2nd girl join the house is something that will take time, though. It was over a year between when Master and shayla first began speaking and when she came down to him. Shayla cannot imagine her Owner bringing another girl into the house with less care than he did her.

Now that she's given it some thought, she's looking forward to it. Having a second girl in the house would provide more flexibility for everyone. Master is very firm about the idea of someone being home at all times to be with the children, instead of sending them to day care. A 3rd adult in the house would provide the extra pair of hands needed to assist in that task. Another plus would be in the housekeeping and chore areas, as both girls would be able to work together with what is a never-ending task, keeping a house clean and well-supplied. Work schedules would be more flexible, as there could be someone else to be at home while one girl is working.

Shayla is looking forward to having a 'sister' for a number of reasons. Master's excellent company, and shayla could never get tired of being around and spending time with him. But to have another woman around to talk to would be invaluable. And while shayla does have other women she can talk to in her life, gossip with, that sort of thing, she can't talk about her personal life with them. Another woman to talk to, one shayla could talk to about serving her Master, what she's excited about, doubting, worrying about, would be helpful for her. And there's also the fun of having another woman to serve with, something shayla's never experienced. It would be great to exchange and work out ideas with another girl who's got the same focus as shayla. Whether those ideas are what to cook for dinner, suggestions and tips in dancing, how to decorate the house, whatever.

As for what type of person shayla would like to have as a 'sister', that's not easy for her to narrow down. Shayla's rather flexible in a number of ways and this is certainly one of them. She'd like a fellow slave to be a woman that knows what she is and can be comfortable in her relationships. That isn't afraid to speak up when she's got an idea, but is equally open to other ideas. That isn't afraid to get in and do what needs to be done. And any time you bring a new personality into a household there's a period of adaptation on everyone's part. It'll take some adjustment, going from just Master and shayla to Master, shayla, and a 2nd girl.

Much of who does what around the house Master plans on allowing the girls to work out amongst themselves. He's not planning on assigning a 'first girl' as happens in some houses. We'll both be on an equal footing. So long as things get done, he will let the girls organize things in a way that works best for them. Frankly, shayla shudders to think about his possible reaction were the girls to begin arguing over who did what last, and who gets to do what this time.

Of course, such an intimate relationship would have no room for power games, jealousy, and so forth. Master's not got the patience or inclination to deal with it, and shayla's just got too many important things to do to worry about another woman's jealousy and insecurity in her relationship. And as much as Master would be just that, the Master of the house and both girls, there would still be a common focus between us all, serving him.
